Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria appoints new Chief Financial Officer

Krum Stoimenov takes over from Stefan Galabov, who continues his career development as CFO for Coca-Cola HBC in Serbia and Montenegro

Krum Stoimenov is the new Chief Financial Officer of Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria. He succeeds Stefan Galabov, who will continue his successful career at Coca-Cola HBC as CFO for Serbia and Montenegro. In his new position, Krum Stoimenov will combine the responsibilities of Executive Director and member of the Board of Directors of Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria. He will lead a team of 35 professionals responsible for the company's financial resources, profitability, and strategic business development in the country.

Krum Stoimenov has held a number of positions of responsibility and leadership in finance and strategic management. He joined Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria 10 years ago, in 2013, as a financial analyst. Over the years, he has moved through various roles with increasing responsibility and focus on customer profitability management, categories, and revenue planning and analysis. For two years, he was Finance Manager at Coca-Cola HBC Italy, with responsibilities for the strategic development of still drinks and water.

Upon his return to Bulgaria in 2018, Krum Stoimenov was appointed Business Performance Manager, and a year later he took over as Senior Finance Manager, where he was a business partner for the Commercial and Marketing functions in the company. In this role, he successfully led a team that contributed to exceeding financial targets and supported the business in a number of key initiatives. In 2022, Stoimenov became part of the Marketing department of Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria, leading revenue management. In this role, he strengthens collaboration between the Commercial function and Finance teams and contributes to significantly improving customer satisfaction. At the same time, together with his team, he supports the achievement of the best performance of the company for the last 15 years.

Prior to joining Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria, Krum Stoimenov was part of the Overgas team. He holds a Master's degree in Finance from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and a qualification from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
