The future belongs to the young. And we work to ensure that adolescents and new generations are full, strong and capable members of our society. Every year we invest a lot of efforts and resources in supporting young people from all over Bulgaria to find their vocation, career development and path.
More than 14,000 young people have undergone empowerment training through the #YouthEmpowered program over the past two years.
We have long-standing partnerships with Junior Achievement, SoftUni Digital, American University in Bulgaria, TeenStation, Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", New Bulgarian University, Veliko Tarnovo University "St. St. Cyril and Methodius", and with nearly 60 educational institutions across the country.
Hundreds of Coca-Cola system employees contributed 2,400 hours of volunteering and participation in various campaigns and initiatives, mainly under the #YouthEmpowered program, equivalent to 300 working days.
We launched this program in 2017 in partnership with Junior Achievement Bulgaria. And we are already seeing its real results: almost 31,000 young people who went through various training and development programs. Our focus is on young people aged between 16 and 25 years, i.e. students in the last years of their high school education and students who will start their first job or will realize themselves professionally based on their specialty and interests.
At the heart of the program are our mentors, including a number of experts – Coca-Cola HBC employees who volunteer their personal time for the development of the initiative's participants. They share valuable tips and lessons from their experience that have helped them in their careers. In this way, we prepare young people for a smoother entry into the job market and their successful professional realization thereafter.
It is inspiring and energizing to meet young people who want to know, hear your story and are interested in touching the business. We expose them to real-life business experience and thus help them to be better prepared for the "real" life they will have after school and university.

It is a responsibility and an honor to work with young people who want to learn something new. That is why we share things we have learned through a lot of trial and error, choosing contemporary, relevant topics so that program participants get the most out of our experience.
