Tip: When speaking about yourself, get familiar with the STAR method. It is a way to structure interviews. It helps recruiters to understand what you have done so far, spotlighting similarities in your former role(s) and the one you are applying for.
Situation:
- What was the challenge?
- Who did you report to?
- What was the team size?
- Give necessary details about the context.
- Emphasize similarities to the job your interviewing for.
Task:
- Explain your role and make to be clear on what exactly you were responsible for.
Action
- Walk them through the steps you took.
- You want them to understand your approach also in terms of stakeholder management.
Result
- What was the result of your action?
- Quantify your results!
Be prepared for video interviews! We know your busy. This is why we decided to use video interviews already a while ago. You might experience one or even two types of video interviews: a recorded video interview and a live video interview. The difference: For the first one we have recorded the interview questions and you can do your part of the interview whenever you like. Live interviews are video calls we all got used to by now. You will receive further instructions, etc. when it´s time.
