#YouthEmpowered and “Meeting the Big Business” Join Forces to Support Young Talents

Five cities across the country will host the series of events focused on youth career guidance

Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria will take part in the “Meeting Big Business” initiative organized by the US Ambassador’s Youth Council

In March, as part of the activities under the #YouthEmpowered program, Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria will take part in the “Meeting Big Business” initiative organized by the US Ambassador’s Youth Council. The initiative will be implemented through a series of events aimed at supporting the career orientation and development of young people in Bulgaria. The meetings will take place on March 5 in Plovdiv, March 6 in Veliko Tarnovo, March 10 in Sofia, March 12 in Burgas, and March 13 in Varna.

“For years, Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria has been purposefully working to support young people in building the skills and confidence needed for their future professional development. We believe that access to real business experience and meetings with industry professionals are key to helping students make informed choices and see the opportunities ahead of them,” said Jacklin Tzocheva, Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Director at Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria.

The “Meeting Big Business” initiative is aimed at high‑school students up to 12th grade and seeks to provide a real-world perspective on career opportunities in a corporate environment. During the events in each city, guest speakers from the Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria team will participate, sharing their practical experience and insights into what a professional path in a large international company looks like. Students will also learn what skills employers are looking for today and how they can take their first confident steps toward a successful career. Participation is free of charge, and registration for the events is available at: https://usyc.bg/sabitiya-v-tvoya-grad/.

“For us, the partnership with Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria is a natural continuation of our mission to connect young people with the real world of business. When leading companies invest their time, expertise, and personal example, they provide students with real perspective and the confidence to build a successful professional path in Bulgaria,” added Yuliy Yuliev, Chair of the Board, U.S. Ambassador’s Youth Council in Bulgaria

The partnership with the US Ambassador’s Youth Council builds on Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria’s long-standing commitment to supporting the younger generation. The #YouthEmpowered initiative is one of the company’s leading programs in this area. In the past year alone, 4,121 young people participated in trainings under the program, and since its launch in 2017, it has helped nearly 36,000 young people in Bulgaria develop the skills needed for a successful career start. At group level, more than 1,000,000 young people have been trained through the program for the same period, enabling the company to fulfill and further advance its “Mission 2025” commitments.
