The initiative of Coca-Cola HBC’s Shared Services Center, UNWE and the Inter-University Career Development Center recognized top young talents and strengthened the link between business and education
As part of the program, participants worked through real-world business cases developed by the BSO team
The third edition of Coca-Cola Hellenic – UNWE Academy, an educational initiative by Coca-Cola HBC’s Business Services Organization (BSO), the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) and the Inter-University Career Development Center, concluded with a record number of participants. This year’s edition attracted over 100 applicants, with more than 90 students actively taking part in the training across three key business areas: Business Intelligence, Master Data and Finance.
Top-performing participants were recognized in each of the three modules. In Business Intelligence, first place was awarded to Viktoria Rangelova, followed by David Georgiev and Tetyana Kuneva. In Master Data, Viktoria Kerinova took first place, followed by Viktoria Petrova in second place and Suleyman Gospodev in third. In Finance, first place was awarded to Zhenya Koycheva, followed by Aneliya Ivanova and Martina Rangelova. Winners in each track received scholarships of 750 EUR in recognition of their outstanding performance.
As part of the program, participants developed practical skills in data analysis and presentation, working with information systems and financial processes, while solving real business cases developed by the BSO team. Twelve mentors from the Coca-Cola Hellenic Business Services Organization - experienced professionals in finance, accounting, reporting and data management - delivered hands-on training sessions, including simulations, practical assignments and on-site visits to the company’s headquarters in Sofia.
During the academy, students developed a total of 26 presentations based on the business cases, demonstrating a high level of analytical thinking, creativity and engagement. Following a selection phase, 15 participants advanced to the final evaluation, while the closing event was marked by strong competition and exceptional enthusiasm.
Prof. Tsvetana Stoyanova, PhD, Vice-Rector for Institutional and Business Cooperation and Student Policies, congratulated the participants and highlighted the importance of direct dialogue between students and the business community. Representatives of the BSO emphasized the strong partnership with UNWE, as well as the shared commitment to developing young talent - the future professionals who will shape the business environment in the country.
Coca-Cola HBC continues to advance its strategic commitment to education and youth employability through the #YouthEmpowered program. For nine years, the initiative has supported young people in building key career skills, with nearly 36,000 young people trained in Bulgaria to date. The program continues to provide opportunities for participants to unlock their potential, supported by experts and real-world business experience.
