A total of 25 young talents are joining this year’s internship programs across Coca-Cola HBC’s three entities in Bulgaria - Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria, Business Services Organisation (BSO), and Digital & Technology Platform Services (DTPS). With different durations, areas of focus, and development opportunities, the programs provide participants with hands-on business experience, meaningful project work, and exposure to an international work environment.

“Coca-Cola HBC’s internship programs are much more than a first career step - they give young people the opportunity to grow, learn from experienced professionals, and work on real business projects that have a tangible impact. The strongest proof of the programs’ success is that more than 60% of our interns over the past three years have continued their careers with the company. This demonstrates that when we invest in young talent, we create an environment where they choose to stay and grow with us,” said Maya Tsankova, People & Culture Director at Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria.

Twelve interns have already begun their one-year internship program at Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria, where they will build their knowledge and practical skills through June 2027 in functions including Sales, National Key Accounts, Commercial Support, Planning, Procurement, Warehouse Logistics, Customer Logistics, Production at the company’s production centers in Kostinbrod and Bankia, Distributor Management, and three positions within the Finance department. Working alongside experienced professionals, they will contribute to real business projects and day-to-day operations, laying the foundation for their future careers.

Another 12 young professionals have joined the summer internship program at Coca-Cola HBC Business Services Organisation, where they are already gaining hands-on experience in teams supporting accounting, financial planning & analysis, and people services. Working in an international shared services center will give them the opportunity to contribute to key business processes supporting 29 markets across the Coca-Cola HBC Group while strengthening their professional skills.

This year’s program also marks another important milestone in the development of young talent by introducing an international internship opportunity. As part of this initiative, an intern from the Digital & Technology Platform Services (DTPS) team, who is currently studying at the Technical University of Sofia, will spend the summer working at Coca-Cola HBC Greece. During the internship, the student will contribute to technology projects focused on IT infrastructure resilience and the development of digital solutions, while gaining valuable international experience and firsthand insight into the company’s operations in one of its most dynamic markets.

Recognized as a Top Employer in Bulgaria for the fourth consecutive year, Coca-Cola HBC continues to invest in developing young talent through both its internship programs and its #YouthEmpowered initiative. Now in its ninth year, the program helps improve the employability of young people in Bulgaria. To date, more than 460 company experts have shared their knowledge and experience with over 36,000 young people across the country, helping equip them with the skills and confidence needed for a successful start to their careers.
