He succeeds Anna Boyanova, who continues her development at Group level
Yavor Mechkarski assumes the position of Digital Technology & Platforms Director at Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria
Yavor Mechkarski assumes the position of Digital Technology & Platforms Director at Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria, effective June 2026. He succeeds Anna Boyanova, who continues her professional development at Group level as Group Platform Manager – Financial Planning. In his new role, Mechkarski will be responsible for the development and implementation of digital technologies and platforms within the company, with a focus on innovation, digital transformation, and the sustainable development of business processes and customer experience.
“It is an honor for me to take on this role at a time when technology and digitalization play a key role in business development. I believe that through innovation, strong partnerships, and a focus on people and customers, we will continue to develop sustainable solutions with real value for the company and our partners,” commented Yavor Mechkarski.
Mechkarski has more than 15 years of experience at Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria, having started his professional journey with the company in 2009 as a Business Developer. Over the years, he has held various positions with increasing responsibility across the commercial function and strategic project management. In 2019, he became Strategic Commercial Projects Manager, where he played a key role in customer base development and optimization of commercial processes. In 2022 he took on the role of Digital Consumer & Customer Platform Lead, where he led key initiatives related to cloud migration, Lead to Customer processes, and the implementation of new CRM platform, including Call Center, Activity Management, and Case Management, with Bulgaria serving as a pilot market for these projects. Since the end of 2024, he has served as RTM Manager for Bulgaria, where he successfully led the development and execution of strategic RTM initiatives, the expansion of the Customer Portal, and supported key projects in close collaboration with internal and external partners.
The appointment is part of Coca-Cola HBC’s consistent approach to developing internal talent and fostering leadership within the organization – a commitment further recognized through the international Top Employer certification, awarded to the company for the fourth consecutive year.
