The company’s iconic Christmas truck returns in the commercial
World-renowned soft drinks brand Coca-Cola has chosen to film its global festive advert in Bulgaria. The Christmas video has been on the air in over 80 countries around the world since the beginning of November. The TV advert unfolds the magic of Christmas with a storyline filled with examples of acceptance and shared kindness. The commercial also reveals the return of one of the most iconic elements of Coca-Cola's holiday campaigns - the fabled Christmas truck.
The Christmas Truck first appeared on television screens in 1995 and has been associated with the upcoming holidays for more than a quarter of a century. For several generations, the bright red Coca-Cola truck has become a symbol of Christmas magic. The company said it would soon provide more information on whether the Coca-Cola Christmas truck will return to Bulgaria again.
The world needs more Santas is the message Coca-Cola shares through its global Christmas advertising campaign that traditionally takes place during the festive period. The idea behind the video is to remind people how important it is to be more amiable and open to each other and to make small gestures of kindness to others. The new Christmas campaign aims to inspire people to share the good every day, with or without a reason - with every kind word, humble gift, noble deed, or unexpected compliment. Coca-Cola suggests that each of these gestures of kindness can bring out the inner Santa in every one of us because the world needs more Santas.
Another magical element, part of the company's Christmas campaign, is the major national consumer promotion 'Share the Spirit of Christmas,' which will bring festive cheer to a number of lucky winners with a range of prizes, including three trips for two to Santa's home - Lapland. The campaign challenges everyone to show their knowledge of their favorite white-bearded old man and, in particular, whether they know where he lives. Anyone can enter the prize draw in the period between the 6th of November and the 23rd of December using the Coca-Cola app.
