Coca-Cola Bulgaria's innovative proposal was awarded first place at the PROGRESSIVE AWARDS competition
One of the freshest and most innovative additions to Coca-Cola Bulgaria's portfolio - Schweppes Pink Grapefruit - was awarded in the "Best New Product - Beverages" category at the PROGRESSIVE AWARDS. At the sixth edition of the prestigious competition, a total of 15 statuettes were awarded. The winners in each category, including retailers, manufacturers, brands, and projects from the country's fast-moving consumer goods sector, were selected following a vote by 12,500 managers from companies in the sector.
"In the distant year of 1783, German watchmaker and inventor Jacob Schweppe mixed water and carbon dioxide, creating the world's first carbonated soft drink, specifically Schweppes. This marked the beginning of an incredible story, which today makes Schweppes synonymous with exceptional taste and character. More than 240 years later, we are honored that the PROGRESSIVE AWARDS competition recognized our bold innovation, Schweppes Pink Grapefruit. We accept the award as recognition for our achievements and as inspiration for future successes," said Nikolay Tinkov, Marketing Director at Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria, during the award ceremony.
Introduced to the market in 2023, the fresh Schweppes Pink Grapefruit is the result of thorough consumer research and the company's commitment to surprising its consumers with innovative offerings. Thanks to its new, fresh, and balanced taste, the beverage quickly wins the hearts of consumers and finds its place in thousands of Bulgarian homes and establishments. The intense original flavor of pink grapefruit, with delicate sweet and sour notes, complements the current preferences of consumers for pink drinks with an attractive color, suitable for both standalone consumption and the development of cocktail culture in our country.
