The new low-calorie addition to Coca-Cola's portfolio was awarded in the fifteenth edition of the competition "Food Industry in Bulgaria - New Products and Technologies 2022"
The new Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Lemon won a prestigious award in the "Final Product" category of the fifteenth national competition "Food Industry in Bulgaria - New Products and Technologies 2022". At a special ceremony on the Day of the Food Industry - 7 December, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Foods Krum Nedelkov presented the well-deserved award to the latest addition to the Coca-Cola low-calorie alternatives – Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Lemon. The competition was part of the XIX National Scientific and Practical Conference on "The Food Industry in Bulgaria – Present, and Future", organized by The Union of Food Industry, part of the Federation of the Scientific Engineering Unions. Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria was also awarded for its overall contribution and support to the activities of the Union.

The main goal of the "Food Industry in Bulgaria - New Products and Technologies 2022" awards, that took place within the XIX National Scientific and Practical Conference, is to encourage the relationship between Bulgarian science and business representatives working in the food and beverage industry. In this year's, the fifteenth in a row, dozens of organizations that developed and implemented new products, as well as food and beverage manufacturers that developed or implemented a product and put it on sale in the Bulgarian market, took part in the competition.
