Since March in alignment with the trend for digital transformation in the recent few months, the programme was conducted entirely online through a series of webinars on topics connected with the development of personal and business skills of young people. Thus, the programme continued to perform its main purpose despite of the challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic brought - to support the development of the business skills of young people in order to improve their motivation for development in further education and employment.

This autumn we are ready to continue with more opportunities for development of the working capacity and digital skills of young people in Bulgaria. New useful webinars are forthcoming with the participation of experts on topics connected with the personal and business development, practical workshops and opportunities for gaining experience by virtual traineeships, organized jointly with our partners from Coca‑Cola HBC Bulgaria within the programme

Milena Stoycheva Executive Director of Junior Achievement Bulgaria (JA Bulgaria)

For a few weeks 7 webinars were realized on topics like: Time Management, Negotiation Skills, Project Management, Career Skills - CV and cover letter, Success Skills, Marketing Skills, etc. 7 mentors from the team of Coca‑Cola HBC Bulgaria shared their knowledge and professional expertise on the topics and gave answers to all questions asked by the curious participants.

For all people of our company, #YouthEmpowered is not just a programme but it has been a dedication for us in the recent few years. Every colleague who assumes the role of a mentor, approaches with equal parts passion and responsibility the meetings with the thirsty for knowledge young people and they respond with the same. It was very important for us to continue the programme also during the state of emergency and we are happy that together with our partners from Junior Achievement Bulgaria, we have managed to adapt it quickly and successfully to the new realities so that we are useful for our communities

Jacklin Tzocheva Director Public Affairs & Communications of Coca‑Cola HBC Bulgaria

More than 350 participants had the opportunity to ask questions and to comment on the topics and to gain knowledge and experience for the development of their career skills. The lecturers who inspired the programme locally, continued teaching even in the context of entirely digital education and during the next academic year, they will be supported by more mentors - volunteers of Coca‑Cola HBC Bulgaria who will join the teaching by presenting the practical aspect of the topics for career and personal development.

Useful?! The webinars of #YouthEmpowered are not only useful but wonderful. Incredibly well-prepared workshops with real practical development of specific skills. Always prompt, specific and goal-oriented. Students share that for that short time they have acquired more knowledge and skills from the digital webinars....than from the theory. We are grateful to JA Bulgaria for the perfect preparation of the provided exercises.

I liked very much the webinars, they were very useful and very interesting. I learned many new things from them, for example I learnt how to manage my time correctly so that it is enough for everything. I also learnt how to apply for a job and to create CV and cover letter.  I also learnt many other things. During each webinar, I had questions that I asked to the guest lecturers and they replied to me in a clear manner. All guest lecturers were great and unique. I am looking forward to the next webinars!”
