Can we multiply success? And if so, how to do it?

I have always believed that people who are part of the business have the great power to change the world we live in for the better, but this is also a great responsibility. That is why I am happy to work for Coca-Cola HBC, which this year was named the Europe’s most sustainable beverage company according to the Dow Jones Index and ranked among the top three companies in the sector worldwide for 11th consecutive time. A recognition that comes in response to all the small but important steps towards sustainable development that we are taking.

Last year, we made a bold commitment to achieve net zero emissions by 2040. And this is in addition to the challenge we have accepted to collect and recycle 100% of the packaging we sell on the market by 2030.

Innovation is key to finding sustainable solutions. For example, our new “tethered” – or attached – caps on “Bankia” mineral water bottles will make collecting and recycling the entire packaging easier. We have also replaced the foil used so far for packing Coca-Cola in a multi-pack of 6 cans with the KeelClip™ cardboard technology, which will save 2 tons of plastic shrink-wrap in Bulgaria per year. We strive to pass on the good we do. Because this is the real success.
