This year we welcome participants who will study Italian, Czech and Polish for free
With the official opening at our head office in Sofia, the second edition of our professional language program was launched. The purpose of the initiative is to enable professionals and students who are not employees of the company to improve their knowledge of Italian, Czech and Polish in order to feel confident and prepared enough to use them in a work environment. Their participation is not related to them starting a career with us.
The program first launched last year with an Italian-only academy - Scuola di Italiano. Due to increased interest and market demands, this year the program is expanding to two more languages - Czech “Čeština pro mírně pokročilé” and Polish – “Razem po polsku”. They are part of the long-standing commitment of the company to develop the workforce and support the economy in our country.
"As a socially responsible company, we at Coca‑Cola Hellenic are aware of our responsibility for the development of the workforce and economy in Bulgaria. Our mission is to support the personal and professional advancement of people in the country by creating additional opportunities for them so that they can feel even more prepared for the labor market. We believe that after graduating, participants will feel more confident in their language competencies and will work even more freely with the language.", shares Miroslava Markova, HR Manager in our Business Services Organization.
Courses will be held twice a week in the evenings or on weekends, allowing participants to combine their language training with work or university. The program consists of 180 hours, which will take place over the span of 30 weeks. Participants are chosen following pre-selection and a test prepared by company representatives and teachers in the respective languages.
